Blencathra is a striking fell in the northern lake district, best know for the route Sharp Edge on the North Eastern Side of the mountian. It is higher than most of the peaks around it as stands proud, rising steep from the valley.

In winter Blencathra is often one of the first fells to catch the snow. It is also know as the Saddleback.
