I was really pleased to discover that The Lakes Partnership are working to help local businesses to encourage people to support landscape conservation in Cumbria. Their aim is to encourage tourism opperators to work towards environmentally sustainable development. It is important that organisations like this exist and I am keen to encourage visitors to the Lake District to use businesses who are endorsed by them.
