Established in 1957 Fishers is one of the biggest outdoor retailers in Cumbria with a good selection of quality walking, climbing and skiiing equipment. Knowledgable helpful staff are always on hand to offer advice without feeling pressured to buy. They also have an excellent online store and not to mention a brilliant cafe set in the eves of the top floor. The cafe has a great view of Catbells, Grasmoor and other classic lakeland fells. The soups and cakes are particularly good.
