Take a cruise along the shores of Derwent water and enjoy the stunning scenery of Borrowdale and Skiddaw surrounding you. The Keswick Launch leaves regularly from the landing stage adjacent to the Theatre by the Lake.For walkers the launch offers a superb opportunity to add interest to a route by combining a lake cruise with a walk back to Keswick. The route along the shores of Derwent Water from Abbot's Bay is clearly waymarked and along a level prepared footpath via Portinscale back to Kewsick. It is ideal for walking with children. Since the Launch also calls Hawes End And Nichol end if you kids get tired you always have an escape route.
