Lakeside
Lakeside is a small collection of houses a pub and a good hotel at the southern end of Lake Windermere. It is a good base for touring the far southern end of the Lake District. It is worth noting that it is some distance from amenities but if you are looking for a quieter bolt hole this could be just the place.
