With nearest shops in the next valley, one road and a pub Little Langdale is the perfect destination to get away from it all. What the valley has is lots of excellent walking and easy access to high high fells. If you are a fell walker and prefer to begin on foot from your accommodation Little Langdale is an appealling choice.

Crinkle Crags, Bow Fell and Wetherlam are all achievable from the valley. These mountains can me approached from less often trod directions which are really beatiful also.

The Wrynose Pass begins in Little Langdale. This is the most challenging road route in The Lake District when combined with the Hardknott Pass. The views achived for the non hill walker are higly rewarding. The drive however is not for the feint hearted.

There is a small selection of bed and breakfasts hidden in Little Langdale valley, book early to avoid didsapointment.
