One of the best after walk pubs in the Langdale valley. Good basic pub grub, stone floors and boots welcome. A bustling earthy pub full of walkers, climbers and campers from the nearby National Trust site. The pub is at the foot of Dungeon Ghyll, an impressive torrent flowing from the Langdale Pikes.
