Stckghyll force is located a short walk from Ambleside and is situated and the top of a victorian park which has a pleasant circular woodland walk leading you to the waterfall and back. Suitable for most abilities though not for prams due to the number of steps. There are some steep sections and care should be taken when taking children since there are some edges.
